For almost 20 years our team has been passionate about increasing the accessibility of services and environments in Manitoba and across Canada. Our desire to increase inclusion is woven into our commitment to helping our community members and organizations access the tools and resources they need to thrive.

Enabling Access Inc. participates in advocacy work both locally and nationally to influence policy change benefiting persons with disabilities and older adults living in Canada.  Enabling Access' representation on multiple volunteer CSA technical committees, national task forces, councils and coalitions related to accessible housing and public accessibility demonstrates our passion for creating a more inclusive Canada.

In Manitoba, Enabling Access Inc. is an active supporter of Barrier-Free Manitoba, a non-partisan, non-profit, cross-disability initiative. We are also a supporter of Abilities Manitoba, a coalition of agencies who support people with intellectual disabilities and whose joint efforts are shaping our government's equitable policies and laws.

Our 2020 Corporate Giving Campaign was directed to Imaginability, a local non-profit organization that provides day programming to adults with intellectual disabilities. Our donation of a new upright freezer for their growing Food Services Program, which provides low cost meals to individuals with intellectual disabilities, their families, support workers and community seniors, was a welcomed gift. We also donated a new power drop saw to help them in their efforts to create a bowling lane within their day program site.
