Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Employment Status: Permanent, full-time (flexible)
Wage: Start $47.45 - 52.30 (based on experience)
Anticipated Start Date: March, 2026 (start date negotiable)
We have immediate opening for an experienced OT in our community-based adult rehab services to conduct home assessments, mobility assessments, wheelchair and seating assessments, cognitive screenings and adaptive equipment prescriptions. Opportunity to conduct workplace assessments if interested. Majority of clients within Winnipeg, some rural travel required. Customers include Regional Health Authorities, insurance providers, workplaces and private-paying individuals.

Requirements

Registered in good standing with COTM
-
Minimum of 2 years providing clinical services within Adult OT services in hospital or community
-
Manual wheelchair and seating assessment and prescription experience required (Power wheelchair prescription is an asset)

ADL equipment assessment and prescription experience

Available for occasional travel outside city of Winnipeg to clients’ homes (max 4-hour travel range)

Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Outlook email), documentation (charting and report writing)

Reliable vehicle, laptop computer, and smart phone (Expense Claim form T-2200 Provided)

CAOT Professional Liability Insurance (can be purchased after offer is extended)

Vulnerable Persons and Abuse Registry Check (can be purchased after offer is extended)
