Adult Rehab Occupational Therapist (Permanent Employee) – March 2023.

 

Position:  Part to full-time employee status.

Wage: Competitive Private Practice Hourly Rate 

Hours: Flexible (minimum daytime availability of 16 hours a week required). Total hours of work to be mutually agreed upon. 

 

We have an immediate opening for an OT in our community adult rehab services to conduct home-based functional assessments, home modification assessments, and wheelchair and seating assessments. We are looking to develop this role into a long-term leadership position.

Requirements and Experience

  • Registered in good standing with COTM 

  • Minimum of 2 years of Adult Rehab OT experience conducting wheelchair, seating, and disability equipment prescription experience

  • Available to travel by vehicle outside city of Winnipeg to clients’ homes in Manitoba (Territory to be mutually agreed upon)

  • Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Outlook) and excellent report writing skills

  • Reliable vehicle, laptop computer, and smart phone 

  • CAOT Professional Liability Insurance (can be purchased after offer is extended)

  • Vulnerable Persons and Abuse Registry Check

  • Record of COVID-19 immunization (unless unable for medical reasons)
