Employment Status: Permanent, full-time (hours are flexible)
Wage: Competitive Private Practice Compensation
Anticipated Start Date: January 5, 2026 (or sooner)
We have immediate openings for 2 experienced OTs in our community-based adult rehab services to conduct wheelchair and seating assessments, mobility assessments, home assessments, cognitive screenings and adaptive equipment prescriptions. The majority of the client caseload is located outside Winnipeg (Western and Northern Manitoba), requiring frequent rural travel. The incumbent OTs may be located in Winnipeg or other area in Manitoba to provide community-based services from where they reside.

Requirements and Experience:

Registered in good standing with COTM

Minimum of 2 years providing clinical services within Adult Rehab in hospital or community

Power and manual wheelchair and seating assessment and prescription experience required

ADL equipment assessment and prescription experience

Available to travel by vehicle outside city of Winnipeg to clients’ homes rural MB

Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and report writing skills

Reliable vehicle, laptop computer, and smart phone (T-2200 Tax form provided so you can claim expenses on personal income tax)

CAOT Professional Liability Insurance (can be purchased after offer is extended)

Vulnerable Persons and Abuse Registry Check (can be purchased after offer is extended)
